Big Girl!!

It's official - we're all now out of school. Maddie was the last one! Thankfully camp starts on Monday and she'll be there 3 days/week.

And, it's time for other big changes too!! Madeline is moving into her big girl bed today for a nap and then tonight for bedtime. Sharing a room with Morgan is very exciting and this might just top it! Connor will be moving into her old crib in his room. I might just jinx it but he's doing so well at night that we figure, why not?!

And with the traveling we're doing this summer & the fact that Maddie will be sleeping in big girl beds elsewhere, it just makes sense...so fingers are crossed!!!

I realized while downloading picts today that most of the ones of Connor are him in the "jungle" but he's the 3rd...what can I say?! He's lucky to even get his picture taken!!

And Morgan took these picts after she played with him and gave him some toys or "bracelets!"

And Auntie Annie came for an early am visit & got Connor back to sleep. It was a nice morning, well, except for Daddy who is still moving furniture & putting the crib back together!

School's Out for the Summer!!

So, Morgan finished school on Wednesday, Daddy finished on Thursday and Mommy finished on Friday. What a week!!!

I went back to work for the last week of school, and as I said to almost everyone who asked about how I felt being back at work, "it's like a vacation!!"

Gamma took care of Morgan and Connor and poor Maddie is the only one of us still in school. She has one more week. I decided last minute that I was very unsure of spending the WHOLE summer with her and Connor, so we decided to sign her up for camp for 3 days/week. It will be great because she'll get out of the house and be active with all her friends from school. Morgan will be at camp all summer until the end of July where we'll all head to the Cape.

We went with Gamma to the Cape for the day today to check out the house we'll be in. It was a fantastic day trip and a rainy one at that - so a great activity to at least break up the routine and get out of the house. We had a delicious lunch at the Lobster Trap with Amanda and Maurabeth before heading home.

And now I sit at the dinner table with an exhausted Morgan and Maddie (who somehow didn't manage to sleep on the way home). Early to bed tonight!!! For us all!! (Fingers crossed for Connor too!!)

Drumroll please...

So, Connor was a super star at his 2 month check up. He weighs in at 14 lbs. 13 oz. and is 23 1/4" long. It puts him at the 97th and 95th percentiles I think. That means he grew 3 lbs. 3 oz in the past month!! Like a weed!!!

Just so you know and out of mere curiosity, I checked to see what Maddie's stats were at 2 months. And despite being 10 lbs. 1 oz. at delivery, Maddie has him beat at the 2 month mark. Maddie was 15 lbs. 13 oz and 25" long. Yeah - she was off the charts!!!

And that is why today during our shopping trip, my Mom and I bought her 4T clothes for the 2 year old she is!! Connor is in 6 month clothes...he's still no slouch himself!! And Morgan, well, I couldn't leave her out! She's one tall and skinny girl!! You know, something like her Mommy!!

Ha!

Growing fast...

Well, most of this post is update picts of Connor but I had to start with this! Morgan's been causing a lot of trouble lately. This is just one of the apology notes she's written this week!!!And here's the little guy!! He has his 2 month check up today, so I'm sure I'll post his stats when we get them!! Growing fast & smiling LOTS!!!
